Who is FIDO.com?

FIDO.com is a "not just for profit" company that wants to connect the act of consumer spending with the act of giving. We are dedicated to bringing a socially mindful community of dog owners together who want to enrich the lives of those animals that are in local shelters and rescue centres throughout North America that are waiting to find a good home. These pet welfare agencies are in desperate need of adoptees. However most are under-funded and at times have to euthanize adoptable animals because they don't have sustainable funding to keep them long enough to get adopted.

Lack of sustainable funding results in:

• an inability to ensure the ongoing care and rehabilitation of animals
• failure to provide emergency rescue and treatment for abused animals
• an inability to provide humane educational programs
• an inability to expand or build facilities to accommodate unwanted animals
